Shake your tail feathers and don’t miss a beat at our vibrant, fun-filled RIO Carnival Dance Workshop! Join us for one, two, or three dazzling days! Each day bursts with colour and surprise as we groove through the rainforest, jam in the jungle with feathered friends, and bring the streets of RIO to life with rhythm, dance, and a whole lot of carnival spirit.

DAY 1: Tuesday 8th July

“Welcome to the Jungle Beat”

Fly into the fun with feathers, friendships, and your first steps into RIO! Get ready to burst into day one with high-energy rhythms and jungle flair!

• Learn a fun Jazz routine inspired by Rio’s Street Parades
• Get your rhythm on in our Drum Circle learning carnival style beats!
• Acro in the Amazon: Safe & fun Acro skills with a rainforest twist
• Create your own feathered Rio Carnival mask with feathers and sequins!
• ‘Fly Like Blu’ in a Rio style obstacle course

DAY 3: Thursday 10th July

“Carnival Celebration”

Celebrate your creativity, courage and connection in a full-day fiesta! One big celebration filled with colour, music, and performance!

• Follow Alice down the mysterious garden path and discover new skills through dance and acrobatics.
• Sing a wonderland medley with expressive storytelling and fun character costumes.
• Make a cool Cheshire Cat grin and wonderful garden flowers to take home!
• Step into the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland with big magical movie moments!

DAY 2: Wednesday 9th July

“Rhythms of the Rainforest”

Feel the rhythm, find your groove – the heart of Rio lives in YOU! The rainforest is alive with music and colour!

• “I Will Survive” - Musical Theatre
• Funky Money Jazz / Funk dance
• Create colourful carnival wrist streamers & costume accessories
• Lyrical dance to ‘Telling the World’
• Drama: Use storytelling & improv to bring a mini Rio Street Scene to life!

Each day has up to 4 - 5 main mixed & varied and quality themed activities which means a minimum 7hrs of quality dance & creativity!
Professional / experienced teachers.
ALL craft activity materials are included & finished product taken home.
‘Creative Play’ is offered at the start & end of each day & also during breaks. Our ‘Creative Play’ Studio is well-equipped with ‘hands on’ activities; build, stack, paint, think, draw, create… (screen free zone!)
Spacious facilities including dining space & use of three separate studio spaces throughout the day.
Access to filtered water fountain throughout the day & access to fridge to store food & drink if required.
Complimentary extended hours from 8am - 5pm for busy mums & dads!

Need longer hours?

Complimentary 2 extra hours per day available (from 8am - 5pm) for working / busy mums & dads! Children will be supervised in our ‘creative play’ studio.
